| Ministry Day Three |

South Africa is absolutely amazing. The place is beautiful, as are the people. For the past three days we have been in one of the local schools, helping out. We have been gardening, helping teach some classes, refurbishing desks for the kids, and teaching an after school club with some of the 5th grade kids. It's different seeing kids actually wanting to learn. Handing out a story page with some activities on the back, all the kids were asking if it was homework, because they wanted more to do. My absolute favorite part is seeing the kids smile. It doesn't matter how much they have, what they wear, or their surroundings, they always seem to have a smile on their faces. You can't help but smile at every precious face you see. It's absolutely infectious. Some things to pray about...the language barrier for one. Fortunately the love of God is universal, so hopefully they see that through our actions. Another is for the team here...that even once we leave the work continues and even more people will come through to help out. The need is so great, not only here, but everywhere, and we're only a small part of the work to be done. But it's a step. Thank you for all your love, prayers, and support. God Bless, Sierra Duncan |

Prayer Points
Discernment: Philippians 1:9-11
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God
Spiritual Warfare: Eph 6:10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and mighty in His power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rules, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Boldness: Eph 6:19
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel
Protection: Psalm 91:9-10
Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place – the Most High who is my refuge – no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.
Strength: Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faith.
Restoration: Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness the prisoners.
