Pilgrimage of Faith

Hebrews 11:13–16 reminds us that the faithful lived as strangers and exiles, confidently embracing God’s promises even when they had not yet received them. Their hope was anchored in a better, heavenly country, and their longing for God shaped the way they lived on earth. Because of their steadfast trust, God was not ashamed to be called their God, and He prepared a lasting home for them. This passage calls us to live with the same forward‑looking faith—rooted in God’s character, confident in His promises, and oriented toward eternity.
